Trevor Kincaid, a Northern California native, found his roots in the Bay Area, where he resides with his wife and two children. As a dedicated pastor, his passion for storytelling has always been intertwined with his love for reading, particularly his favorite genre - Biblical historical fiction. In ancient Aram, the revered warrior Naaman suffers from leprosy. Every healer has failed to cure him of this brutal disease, and he is running out of hope. He hears from an unexpected source that there is a prophet in Israel who can heal him. The only problem is the nations of Aram and Israel are hostile enemies.
During his quest to find healing from the prophet Elisha and Israel’s God, political currents change, and loyalties are questioned. Naaman soon discovers that he is not only trying to save his own life, but the lives of his family, and countless others as Aram and Israel teeter on the brink of war. As pressure mounts, he senses that there are spiritual forces at work, but he is unsure to what destiny they are guiding him. Naaman must summon battlefield courage and diplomatic wisdom if he hopes to not only find healing but redemption.
Micah, a young man from the outskirts of the ancient town of Bethlehem, is learning to carry on his family’s long tradition of shepherding. But his life is tuned upside down after an encounter with a Roman soldier shatters his world. Yearning for vengeance, Micah decides to abandon his family’s shepherding legacy and dedicate his life to making the Romans pay for their crimes.
As tensions with his family come to a head one night, a miraculous encounter in the fields cools Micah’s relentless desire for revenge. But with plans already set in motion, it might be too late for him to change course. Micah must decide if the night will be one of violence or of peace on earth.
